It’s really harder to be accountable to ourselves and our communities when we struggle to pay rent or buy food.

This fund aims to provide direct assistance to Black & Queer folks. No questions asked, no policing, just radical support.
Every quarter, we will be donating funds to folks who need it.

We will ask folks to fill a form that is non policing (we will never require folks to justify the reasons why they need financial support). We know how much the process of asking for help can be dehumanizing, when operated by the state. Each quarter, we will allocate funds based on the forms we received, starting with dark -skinned Black folks, disabled and trans folks in the community. We don’t expect to make “fair” choices, every one deserves care and support. We hope however that this fund will alleviate stress from our community members who need it most.

With the rise of fascism everywhere on the globe, ecological collapse and ongoing pandemics, it seemed more and more for Care to go into economic justice. Somatics doesn’t put a meal on the table. Transformative Justice doesn’t pay rent. We need economic solutions to man-created economic problems.
